Perfect Healthy Oatmeal Recipe | Quick & Customizable

Ingredients (اجزاء)
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats (Quick Oats are fine, but Rolled Oats offer better texture and fiber)
- 1 cup Water or Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy like Almond/Soy Milk)
- A pinch of Salt (Optional, but enhances flavor)
Suggested Toppings & Variations (اضافی چیزیں)
- 1/2 cup Fresh Fruits (Banana, Berries, Apple)
- 1 teaspoon Honey, Maple Syrup, or Jaggery (Shakkar/Gurr) for sweetness
- 1 teaspoon Nuts & Seeds (Almonds, Walnuts, Chia Seeds)
- A dash of Cinnamon or Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
Instructions (ہدایات)
- In a small saucepan, combine the oats, water/milk, and a pinch of salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then immediately reduce the heat to low.
- Let it simmer, uncovered, for about **5-7 minutes**, stirring occasionally, until the oats are creamy and the liquid is mostly absorbed. (For Quick Oats, simmer for 1 minute).
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 1 minute. The oatmeal will thicken as it cools slightly.
- Pour into a bowl. Now, customize your oatmeal by adding your favorite **toppings** (fruits, nuts, and sweetener).
