It also promotes thinning of blood and reduces swelling of the veins. Hamamelis (Witch Hazel) reduces inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes, varicose veins, and haemorrhoids.

Calendula officinalis when applying topically to the anal or genital area helps to reduce symptoms of hemorrhoids or anal tears (also called anal fissures), helps wounds heal faster, maybe by increasing blood flow to the wounded area.

Paeonia officinalis relieves piles and prevents the occurrence of haemorrhoids. Hypericum perforatum soothe and reduce hemorrhoids.
